[Metal Road Construction Method Case Study] Yamanashi Prefecture Road Improvement Project

Design and construction that avoids interference with existing structures is possible! Here is a case study on the main local road Fujikawa-Minobu Line.

Here is an example from the emergency road maintenance and reconstruction project ordered by Yamanashi Prefecture. The Fujikawa Minobu Line (Prefectural Road No. 10) is an important route designated as a second emergency transport road. The site had a thick alluvial fan layer, and existing structures (stone walls and drainage) were in close proximity, creating a challenging environment. As a result, the design and construction that could avoid interference with existing structures while ensuring traffic on the existing road was evaluated positively, leading to the adoption of the metal road construction method. 【Case Overview】 ■ Client: Yamanashi Prefecture, Kōnan Construction Office (Minobu Branch) ■ Construction Period: March 24, 2021 – August 31, 2022 ■ Total Length: 42.5m ■ Width: 7.0m (8.2m) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
