Juntechno Service Co., Ltd., which is engaged in the drone business, is pleased to announce that on April 7, 2021, it completed the registration of the new technology "Underwater Autonomous Robot Camera (Underwater Drone) for the Inspection and Maintenance of Underwater Installations" with the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under the NETIS program. This technology involves using an underwater autonomous robot camera (underwater drone) to conduct inspections of underwater structures, which previously relied on visual inspections by divers. By utilizing this technology, inspections in narrow areas that have been difficult to access and in deep waters where risks are heightened can now be conducted.
