[Case Study Material] Underwater Survey Using Fish Finders *Exhibition Participation Information Available
Underwater surveys are now possible using fish finders! Additionally, we will introduce simultaneous operations with underwater drones and the acquisition of depth measurement data using sonar! Materials are currently available.
This document introduces a case study of using a "fish finder" for underwater research. Originally developed for recreational fishing, the fish finder has become usable for underwater applications due to its high performance and compact lightweight design, allowing it to be equipped on inflatable boats and similar vessels. Additionally, we also present examples of simultaneous operation with underwater drones and the acquisition of depth data using sonar. Feel free to download if you are interested. 【Document Contents】 ■ Visualization of underwater environments using side and down scan sonar ■ Acquisition of point cloud data ■ Creation of contour maps and sediment hardness maps, simple volume calculations, etc. 【Exhibition at Maintenance & Resilience TOKYO 2022】 Date: July 20 (Wednesday) - 22 (Friday), 2022 Venue: Tokyo Big Sight If you are in the area, please stop by. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
