Disaster Prevention Seismic Resistant Water Storage Tank Project
We contribute to the establishment of regional disaster prevention systems through the manufacturing and sales of steel seismic-resistant fire water tanks and water storage tanks.
Since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, as well as the Niigata-Chuetsu Earthquake in 2004, the damage caused by natural disasters has been increasing in recent years. Established urban areas and nearby regions, where population and industry are concentrated, experience significant damage during major earthquakes. Conversely, in rural areas with smaller populations, once a major earthquake occurs and roads are blocked, it becomes difficult to supply essential goods such as food, drinking water, and water for daily use. Additionally, if secondary disasters lead to fires, there is a risk that they could expand into wildfires. During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, approximately 90% of urban water supply was cut off due to the bursting of water pipes. Learning from these lessons, it is our mission to ensure that damage to water supply facilities does not hinder the availability of firefighting water. We strive to maintain not only fire hydrants but also fire water tanks and reservoirs, while simultaneously securing drinking water and water for daily use. This is part of our regional disaster prevention efforts, and we take pride in our contributions to this cause.
