We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Yoshida Town, Haibara District, Shizuoka Prefecture. Yoshida Town is one of the leading eel farming areas in Japan, thanks to its abundant groundwater. The abundance of groundwater poses challenges in processing this water when installing a seismic-resistant water storage tank. In the case of typical horizontal tanks, the construction yard is large, and the spring water treatment becomes extensive, leading to significant cost concerns.
