The parent-child filler type K is a parent-child filler specifically for stairs. The applicable ABt is only two types: M16 and M20. It is characterized by a larger installation tolerance range for ABt compared to OF-L (OF-S), approximately double the value. As a design condition, it is specified that no tensile force should be applied to ABt. Shear force is treated similarly to OF-S.
