It is possible to achieve stable culture without applying physical stress, such as shear stress, to spheroids/organoids. By culturing the freshly created organoids with this device and maturing them, they can mimic tissue structures similar to in vivo conditions and regain their original functions.

In static culture, spheroids/organoids that are prone to necrosis were cultured. This device allows for sufficient oxygen permeability to the interior, enabling the creation of larger spheroids/organoids. By continuing long-term stable culture, self-organization occurs within, allowing for the formation of tissue structures similar to in vivo, thereby making it possible to regain their original functions.
