We will introduce a case where the entire facility was 3D scanned using the Matterport Pro3 to create a VR space, thereby streamlining on-site inspections. At construction sites, it was necessary to visit multiple times for on-site verification, which resulted in significant burdens in terms of travel time and transportation costs. Additionally, it was difficult to grasp the entire space with just photographs, leading to challenges in information sharing within the company and with partner companies. In response, our company has provided an environment where the site can be freely viewed on various devices simply by accessing it through a browser. We have enabled the use of measurement and tagging functions as needed, allowing for the sharing of equipment information and important notes within the VR space.
