Slope failure countermeasures: Ground reinforcement soil construction method
The maximum pull-out force of the reinforcement material can be applied up to 90 kN per unit based on field tests!
The "Slope Failure Countermeasure Ground Reinforcement Soil Method" is a technique that primarily reinforces slopes through tensile force by inserting numerous rock bolts into the ground. Field tests were conducted under conditions where ground collapse did not precede. Bolt loads in the range of 150 to 155 kN were observed, and pull-out of the reinforcement bolts was noted; however, no deformation such as destruction or breakage of the hold plates and wire ropes was confirmed. 【Design Considerations】 ■ Stability calculations for the slope ■ Calculation of necessary restraining forces ■ Assumptions for reinforcement material placement ■ Design of slope construction ■ Examination of stability ■ Completion of structural calculations *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
