[Case Study] Optimizing the Injection Amount of Coagulant to Stabilize Floc Formation
The turbidity meter and water intake flow meter control the injection amount of the coagulant, stabilizing floc formation!
In the rapid filtration facility, there were significant fluctuations in the turbidity of the raw water taken from the river, causing concerns about weather and raw water quality. The amount of coagulant injected was adjusted based on the experience and intuition of the personnel in charge. To address this, we installed a "raw water turbidity meter" and a "water intake flow meter," and equipped the control panel with a touch panel and PLC to control the amount of coagulant injected. By determining the appropriate injection amount based on the raw water turbidity, the formation of flocs became stable. We no longer had to worry about changes in weather or fluctuations in raw water turbidity, and concerns about aluminum detection were also alleviated.
