PERI products are used at construction sites around the world. (Italy: Renovation work on the Leonardo da Vinci Bridge)
PERI products are used at construction sites around the world. This time, we will introduce the "Renovation of the Leonardo da Vinci Bridge" in Sasso Marconi, Italy. The "Leonardo da Vinci Bridge," built in the 1950s, spans the Reno River and connects the Porrettana road with the A1 highway. After more than 70 years of intensive use, it was closed to traffic in 2021 due to severe damage. The goal of the renovation project was to preserve the bridge's impressive arch. The roadway was widened from 8.50m to 11.30m to accommodate future increases in traffic volume and to enhance seismic resistance. The swift execution of the project was particularly important, and all scaffolding work, including the dismantling of scaffolding, was completed in just five months. This was made possible by comprehensive pre-planning and the high flexibility of the PERI UP (modular scaffolding system). The construction is scheduled to be completed in December 2023 as planned. The "Leonardo da Vinci Bridge" is set to reopen on schedule. PERI products: 1. PERI UP (modular scaffolding system) PERI Japan Co., Ltd.

Photos from "Civil Engineering Watching - Infrastructure Encyclopedia: Collection of Civil Engineering Structures" (Tamkang Bridge, Taiwan) have been published.
"Civil Engineering Watching - Infrastructure Encyclopedia: Collection of Civil Engineering Structures Photos" is a portal site for images and information about civil engineering structures that form social infrastructure facilities. We have recently published photos of the "Tamsui Bridge." The Tamsui Bridge is a single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge constructed at the mouth of the Tamsui River in northern Taiwan, featuring a river crossing section of 920 meters, a main tower height of 200 meters above water level (11.4 meters below water level), and the world's longest span of 450 meters. (It will officially open on May 12, 2026.) In addition to the "Tamsui Bridge," various civil engineering projects and articles related to civil engineering are also featured, so we hope you will take a look.
