【QS-P Press Release】 Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital, GK Design, and Kawakami Industries Develop High-Functionality Simple Partition System Addressing COVID-19 Measures, Disaster Shelters, and Medical Settings QS-P is a self-supporting simple partition system that can separate spaces by connecting lightweight, foldable resin panel modules. It was jointly developed by Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital, GK Design Co., Ltd., and Kawakami Industries Co., Ltd. as part of the "QS72" series of emergency disaster comfort temporary spaces used during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. Due to the need for temporary partitions in public spaces, medical settings, and shelters for COVID-19 infection control and privacy protection, QS-P is designed to accommodate a large number of installations simultaneously. The wall modules made of hollow rigid resin panels are lightweight, strong, and durable for repeated use. Thanks to its simple tension structure, it can be easily deployed. When stored, it can be folded flat to save space, allowing for efficient storage. Additionally, its water resistance and chemical resistance to substances like alcohol make it effective in maintaining a hygienic environment.
