Rontai products were featured on an NHK television program!!!
Our product "Mori no Taro" has been featured on an NHK television program! Mori no Taro is a vegetation mat made from "moku-men" (wood fiber) and "moku-tan-ko" (charcoal powder) derived from thinned wood. The "moku-men" provides erosion prevention, moisture retention, and insulation effects as a covering material, and after decomposition, it improves the soil environment as organic matter! The "moku-tan-ko," due to its porous structure, enhances soil aeration and permeability, improving moisture retention and nutrient retention! This time, Mori no Taro is being introduced in a feature about the Yoshino Wooden Chopsticks Cooperative Association in Nara Prefecture, which supplies the moku-men. You can watch the video on the "NHK Nara Broadcasting Station Nara Navi HP"! ↓↓↓ Here is the URL ↓↓↓ https://www.nhk.or.jp/nara/program/hajimari/index.html Please take a look at the wonderful technology of traditional "Yoshino split chopsticks" that utilizes thinned wood, and the effective use of wood chips generated during the manufacturing process in Mori no Taro!
