Unit House | 【Effects of Introducing MOBILE SPACE】Public Facilities
Creating a space filled with rich content! An architectural response to change that becomes a symbol of transformation for the town through a community facility.
We will introduce the reasons why the unit house "MOBILE SPACE" was chosen and its implementation effects through a case study. In recent years, the population of Matsushige Town in Itano District, Tokushima Prefecture has been declining. To improve this situation, the Matsushigate, a community hub and place for interaction, has been constructed. To create a lively and interactive space for the town, various attractive contents based on the concept of "five spaces" have been prepared. "We hope that this Matsushigate will become a symbol of Matsushige Town's measures against population decline, and we will continue to promote various projects," we were told.
