Piping RI Density Meter "PIRICA-S1"
Real-time measurement of the density of the flowing material in the pressure piping!
The pipe density meter "PIRICA-S1" utilizes radioactive isotopes (RI) to continuously measure the density of substances (liquids, slurries, etc.) flowing inside pipes in a non-destructive and non-contact manner. 【Features】 ■ Compatible with pipe diameters of 1 to 8 inches (*For pipe diameters of 10 to 16 inches, please consider the PIRICA-L1.) ■ Uses a sealed source of Barium-133 with an activity of 1MBq - no notification procedures to the Nuclear Regulation Authority are required ■ Can be installed on pipes without tools, unless under special conditions ■ Mechanical specifications are designed for field use, featuring a waterproof and dustproof (IP65) structure ■ Measurements can be taken without a 100V power supply thanks to the built-in rechargeable battery ■ Wireless remote measurement (up to 100m) is possible with Bluetooth Class 1 ■ Supports remote monitoring via internet connection (optional: SRENET) ■ In addition to the general-purpose PIRICA-S1, we also offer battery-less, wireless external models for factory equipment (PIRICA-S2) and explosion-proof models (PIRICA-S3) (inquiries required) *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Since our establishment, we have developed many measurement technologies that utilize various types of radiation emitted by radioisotopes, particularly gamma rays and neutron rays, in the construction field, specifically the RI method. The characteristics of the RI method are "non-destructive," "rapid," and "high precision." Currently, based on the development of unique measuring instruments that leverage these characteristics and the proposal of investigation methods, we focus on consulting that comprehensively addresses issues related to ground and soil construction by combining soil and geological surveys. Additionally, we also engage in the sale and rental of these RI instruments. Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests.
