The proposal for indoor positioning technology being developed by Sonas has been adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Program (SCOPE). Until now, high-precision indoor positioning systems have been costly, raising the barriers for companies to implement them. Sonas aims to overturn the conventional wisdom that "implementation is difficult" and "costs are high" for DX and IoT, and will accelerate this research and development towards realizing an easily implementable and low-cost high-precision indoor positioning solution.
