[Case Study] Demonstration Experiment of Structural Monitoring Targeting Gunkanjima
Multi-point time synchronization and lossless data collection were evaluated and adopted. A demonstration experiment was conducted on Gunkanjima.
We would like to introduce a case where Mitsui Sumitomo Construction Co., Ltd. has implemented the 'sonas x01' system, which has been developed to address the challenges of maintaining and managing infrastructure structures through a low-cost, wireless vibration measurement system. Sonas has consistently supported hardware design, including sensor casing and device selection, network construction with UNISONet, and data upload to the cloud, resulting in the establishment of a long-term stable system. With this initiative, we were able to collect vibration data from multiple points in Building 30 and monitor it remotely at all times. 【Case Study】 ■ Implementing Company: Mitsui Sumitomo Construction Co., Ltd. ■ Challenges Before Implementation: - Conducted a demonstration experiment on Gunkanjima to investigate the deterioration of RC structures. ■ Reason for Selection: Multi-point time synchronization and lossless data collection were evaluated and adopted. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
