The demonstration experiment in "Tokyo Metro ACCELERATOR" has begun.
Sonas has begun a demonstration experiment as the first applicant company in Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd.'s "Tokyo Metro ACCELERATOR (Railway Business Challenge Solution Program)." "Tokyo Metro is developing technology for the introduction of condition-based maintenance (CBM) using sensing technologies; however, traditional wired data communication has posed challenges such as construction costs for wiring and securing wiring space. This demonstration experiment will utilize Sonas Corporation's IoT wireless technology 'UNISONet,' which allows for the omission of wiring for data communication, to collect data such as temperature and humidity. This will verify the reduction of construction costs for wiring in subway station premises and the safety and effectiveness of wireless data communication."
