[AR-PRIMER 12.5 Construction Case] Food Processing Plant Rust Repair
It is important to carry out repairs before the metal becomes thin and brittle due to rust! Here are some case studies.
We would like to introduce a case of rust repair in the machinery room at a food processing factory. In the past, regular repainting covered the underlying rust with surface paint, which allowed the residual rust beneath the paint film to progress and cause blistering. Once the multiple layers of existing paint were removed, the substrate was covered in red rust, indicating a state of overall corrosion. Therefore, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5' to convert the red rust to black rust and stop the progression of the internal residual rust. For large areas, we used spraying, while for finer areas such as handrails, we used brushes and rollers. 【Effects】 ■ Converts red rust to black rust and stops the progression of internal residual rust. ■ With a durability of over 20 years, it significantly reduces the time and cost associated with regular repainting. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
basic information
**Features of AR-PRIMER 12.5** - Composed mainly of a compound made of cement and silica sand, and an emulsion made of special polymers. - Contains carbon fibers to enhance surface strength. - Suppresses corrosion and re-corrosion of steel materials through the formation of a stable anti-corrosion layer. - The coating exhibits excellent elasticity and adhesion, providing long-term anti-corrosion effects. - Two-color application in gray (first coat) and green (second coat) prevents missed spots and contributes to quality control in construction. - Contributes to reducing repair costs for metal components such as steel structures. - Being solvent-free, it allows for environmentally friendly practices in construction of river and marine structures. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
