[AR-PRIMER 12.5 Construction Case] Generator Rust Repair
Prevent the intrusion of rainwater from above! Ensure a dry film thickness of 650 to 800 microns for heavy corrosion protection.
Here is a case study of rust repair on a generator. The lower part of the generator has rusted further due to rainwater intrusion from above, with holes on the outside revealing the insulation inside. The inner metal is rusted and flaking, and the rust continues to progress. Therefore, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5', which allows excess moisture to escape until fully cured and transforms red rust into stable black rust with an alkaline coating. [Repair Points] - Prevent rainwater intrusion from above - Seal rust holes exposing insulation - Ensure a dry film thickness of 650 to 800 microns for heavy corrosion protection *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
basic information
**Features of AR-PRIMER 12.5** - Composed mainly of a compound made of cement and silica sand, and an emulsion made of special polymers. - Contains carbon fibers to enhance surface strength. - Suppresses corrosion and re-corrosion of steel materials by forming a stable anti-corrosion layer. - The coating exhibits excellent elasticity and adhesion, providing long-term anti-corrosion effects. - Two-color application in gray (first coat) and green (second coat) prevents missed spots and contributes to quality control during application. - Contributes to reducing repair costs for metal components such as steel structures. - Being solvent-free, it allows for environmentally friendly construction practices in river and marine structures. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
