Two-Tower Hydrogen Gas Dryer GGD for Hydrogen Cooling Generators and Surrounding Products
A two-tower system with two desiccant containers! For moisture removal from hydrogen gas in hydrogen-cooled generators.
The "Hydrogen Gas Dryer (GGD)" is a two-tower, open reactivation type hydrogen gas dryer. It uses a GMPU-controlled system to monitor the efficiency of the dryer using measurements from dew point meters installed at the inlet and outlet of the hydrogen gas, determining when reactivation is necessary. Due to its two-tower design with two drying agent containers, while one is operating in drying mode, the other can be in standby or reactivation mode. 【Features】 ■ If the reactivation cycle time exceeds the set range, a timer controls the reactivation time. ■ Hydrogen from the generator system is used for reactivation and released into the atmosphere. ■ The amount of hydrogen used for one reactivation is approximately 2 scfm for an average reactivation time of 2 to 3 hours. ■ Molecular Sieve is used as the drying agent.
basic information
[Other Features] ■ Since it is an open reactivation type, it does not require cooling water supply like a closed-loop dryer, making it an efficient system for removing moisture from towers that require reactivation. ■ Molecular Sieve is a desiccant capable of achieving a higher level of dehumidification compared to activated alumina and others.
