On January 27, 2023, a ceremony for the "2022 Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award for Excellent Greening Factories" was held at the Sabō Kaikan (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo), where our exterior factory received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award. Our company aims to create a factory facility that is open to the community, and at the exterior factory, where nearly 60% of the area is green space, we have actively promoted greening based on a comprehensive green space plan. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to engage in further environmental activities and actively promote initiatives aimed at coexisting with nature and the community. ■ Our Award History - 2016: Received the 35th "Japan Greening Center President's Award" - 2019: Received the 38th "Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry Director's Award" - 2022: Received the 41st "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award" ■ Summary of Achievements (from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) Our factory has named its green space "Ruby Village," and has promoted greening activities by creating fields of "Takamine Ruby," a type of red buckwheat that inspired the name, flower beds planted with numerous seasonal flowers, and a forest park with views of the surrounding mountains. Additionally, the green space is always open to the public and is widely used by local residents. We are also engaged in community contributions, such as providing venues for recreation for young children, elementary school students, and the elderly, as well as cooperating with welfare-related organizations.
