The tile expresses the traditional Japanese ibushi silver color. The Ibushi (Gin) tile is created by smoking during the firing process, which forms a layer of carbon on the surface of the tile. After installation, the ibushi layer may peel off, leading to dark discoloration or the occurrence of iridescence.
