Rainwater retention infiltration facility / infiltration trench "New Trench-kun II"
Outstanding water treatment capability significantly reduces construction area! No piping work required, shortening the construction period! Equipped with maintenance features!
In accordance with the new technical guidelines of the Public Interest Incorporated Association for Rainwater Retention and Infiltration Technology, we have launched a model-changed new standard "New Trench-kun II" (product dimensions remain unchanged). Improvements have been made compared to the conventional model as follows: - Compliance with the new technical guidelines of the Public Interest Incorporated Association for Rainwater Retention and Infiltration Technology - Improved connection pieces for easier assembly - Elimination of transport pipe ribs, allowing for internal inspection of the tank with a camera The plastic rainwater retention and infiltration facility, infiltration trench "New Trench-kun II," significantly reduces construction area with its excellent void ratio. No piping work is required, assembly is extremely simple with one-touch connections, and construction time is shortened. It is compatible with T-25 and can be installed under parking lots. The unique internal maintenance function of New Trench-kun II makes maintenance very easy. Due to these features, a cost reduction of 0-40% compared to conventional crushed stone trenches is possible (this varies by administration, so please contact us for details). *New Trench-kun II is a previously registered product in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's new technology information provision system 'NETIS' (old registration number KT-130092-A).

Comparison with conventional crushed stone trenches [Photo: Sand removed from inside the main body due to maintenance function] Void ratio: 94% compared to 25-35% for crushed stone Workability: New Trench-kun can be excavated, placed, and backfilled up to 40m/day with one excavator, one operator, and two regular workers, depending on site conditions Maintenance: Trenches experience a decrease in function due to soil particles flowing in and accumulating from initial rainwater. While it is difficult to address this with crushed stone, New Trench-kun allows for easy removal of accumulated sand and cleaning of the internal device Cost reduction: Cost reductions of approximately 0-40% are possible due to administrative measures

Notice of Participation in "Sewer Exhibition '19 Yokohama"
Chichibu Chemical will be exhibiting at the "Sewage Exhibition '19 Yokohama" held at Pacifico Yokohama from Tuesday, August 6. 【Exhibition Zone / Booth Number】 ■ Pipeline Materials / B410 【Exhibition Content】 ■ Display of Plastic Rainwater Runoff Control Facilities Chichibu Chemical's plastic rainwater runoff control facilities create underground storage space for rainwater to suppress runoff and mitigate flooding and inundation damage. Depending on the installation conditions, we use both infiltration and storage types; the infiltration type contributes to groundwater recharge and maintaining low water flow in rivers, while the storage type can also be utilized as rainwater utilization tanks. With components that balance lightweight and high strength, these facilities can be installed under parking lots with strength that meets Level 2 seismic motion (equivalent to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake) and live load T-25, while keeping total costs, including installation, low. *We sincerely look forward to your visit.

It was selected for the JICA 2017 project formulation survey.
In the fiscal year 2017, our proposed project "Feasibility Study on Plastic Rainwater Storage Structures" targeting Thailand was selected for the "Support Project for Overseas Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises - Feasibility Study" by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The contract was signed on August 18, 2017. In Thailand, which experiences heavy rainfall, flooding damage occurs frequently, and the lack of sewerage and drainage facilities is a significant issue. The impact of the 2011 Thailand floods on the Japanese supply chain is still fresh in our memories. This study will investigate the actual conditions of flooding damage, rainwater utilization, and ground conditions, primarily in Bangkok, and will examine the feasibility of deploying plastic rainwater storage structures.
