Maintenance-free for 20 years! Fluororesin coating "Garnet 1000"
The first domestically produced paint has been around for 50 years! Proudly boasting 20 years of maintenance-free performance, the thermoplastic hardening fluororesin paint 'Garmet 1000'.
In 1965, the world's first fluororesin for coatings, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) "Kynar 500®," was developed in the United States. In 1970, our company successfully became the first in Japan to turn this fluororesin into a coating. Its performance is recognized to far exceed that of urethane resin coatings and acrylic silicone resin coatings, and it continues to be adopted in high-rise building materials in Japan, as well as in curtain wall materials for buildings in Taiwan, where the impact of ultraviolet rays is significant, especially in Okinawa. 【Features】 ■ Weather Resistance No chalking is observed after 6000 hours in the SWOM (Sunshine Weatherometer) test. ■ Corrosion and Chemical Resistance It exhibits exceptionally high performance in salt spray tests, boiling water tests, and chemical resistance tests, unmatched by other coatings. ■ Coating Properties It has high tensile strength and elongation, providing excellent impact resistance. ■ Heat and Cold Resistance As the main component is a thermoplastic crystalline polymer, it can withstand long-term use over a wide range of temperatures from -62°C to 140°C. ■ Abrasion Resistance The coating is tough and has excellent abrasion resistance, resulting in minimal damage from wind, rain, and sand dust. ■ Stain Resistance The coating has a low coefficient of friction, making it difficult for dirt and dust to adhere.
