[Case Study of Wood Biomass Boiler Installation] Kamitsushima Onsen Nagisa no Yu

Expected as a new energy alternative to kerosene and heavy oil! A case study of a hot spring facility in Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture.

We would like to introduce a case study on the introduction of a wood biomass boiler at Nagisa no Yu, a hot spring facility in Tsushima. We are utilizing wood chips made from offcuts and backboards generated during the processing of thinned wood from Tsushima as boiler fuel for the hot spring facility. In Tsushima, many offcuts and similar materials are left unused, and there is hope for new energy sources to replace kerosene and heavy oil, given the abundant forest resources in Tsushima. 【Case Overview】 ■ Application: Hot spring facility for hot water supply and flowing baths ■ Fuel: Wood chips (moisture content DB 50%) ■ Hot water machine model: Down-combustion furnace UTSK-240.22 ■ Hot water machine output: 240 kW ■ Silo discharge system: Vent arm type ■ Installation date: February 2010 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
