The TOWA QQ Foru Alester J is a pre-fall prevention device. It is very compact and can be easily attached to a rope. In the event of an emergency during rope access or swing work, it locks to prevent the risk of falling. Equipped with a brake cam, it can be switched to a parking position, allowing for stationary work or work positioning. It can also be used as a mechanical pulley in a hauling system.

※※Prohibited Actions※※ There have been instances where accessory cords and similar items are attached to fall arresters, allowing them to follow during descent. However, in the event of a malfunction of the descender, the locking mechanism of the fall arrester may not activate, leading to numerous accidents involving falls. Additionally, modifying the equipment to attach cords and allow manual unlocking is extremely dangerous. In panic situations, humans instinctively do not let go of what they are holding. Using cords to connect to the descender during descent, or holding onto the cord to disable the locking function, poses a risk of not preventing falls, so please refrain from doing so at all costs.

How to attach to the rope 1 Open the front plate of the QQ main unit and pass the rope through. (Please do not confuse the top and bottom directions of the main unit. It will not function properly.)

How to attach to the rope 2 Close the front plate and connect the included steel carabiner. (Do not use other aluminum carabiners or steel carabiners. This will void the warranty.)

How to attach to the rope 3 Connect the dedicated carabiner for QQ to your shock absorber sling and then connect it to the anchor point of your harness.

How to attach to the rope 4 Please ensure that weight is applied to the QQ body, causing it to lock and preventing any movement of the body.

How to attach to the rope 5 Method of temporary fixation: When securing the QQ main body to the rope, please lower the parking cam within the red dotted line for use.

How to attach to the rope 6 When you lower the parking cam and attach your carabiner to the exposed carabiner hole, it will be in fixed mode and will not descend.
