In the fall of 2020, we applied the Seal Hard FGS6 to a building in Harajuku, Tokyo, which was renovated. Seal Hard comes in many specifications, and this project used the FGS6 specification for the flooring. Every building entrance is filled with the owner's unique preferences. The entrance, which serves as the "face" of the building, may feature a sign, a lobby, or even sculptures. Seal Hard has the ability to showcase the owner's attention to detail. This time, it was a shared office for creators and an apparel shop. The concept was "New Modern," presenting a more advanced and cutting-edge theme. The client had high expectations for the flooring. From the planning stage, we created multiple samples to align the image, exploring the degree of gloss and the atmosphere of the sign reflecting on the floor. Once on-site, we reproduced the samples as closely as possible while maintaining the client's vision during the installation. The panels in the entrance reflected onto the floor, resulting in a modern finish. Utilizing the texture of concrete, Seal Hard FGS is easy to operate and manage. Seal Hard is a colorless, odorless, and environmentally friendly concrete surface hardener that is non-polluting. It is a colorless, transparent liquid primarily composed of sodium silicate, which penetrates the surface of the concrete after application. Through a chemical reaction with the concrete components, it generates a glass-like substance on the surface. This chemical reaction continues over time with regular water washing for moisture replenishment. Concrete strengthened by Seal Hard becomes more beautiful and glossy with use and regular water washing, without becoming slippery even when glossy. Seal Hard FGS is widely adopted in commercial facilities and public property floors. In addition to this beauty salon, there are numerous achievements in public and private properties, including boutiques, supermarket sales areas, and home centers. Application can be performed 14 days after concrete placement. Furthermore, maintenance remains easy and, due to polishing, results in a strong floor that is even more resistant to dirt.
