The NORBIT WINGHEAD series, designed for use under harsh conditions, is the most high-performance sonar available on the market.
The NORBIT multi-beam sonar system "WINGHEAD" is a compact, lightweight, and ultra-high-resolution narrow multi-beam sonar that employs a cylindrical receiving array. Like the iWBMS series, it incorporates an IMU from Applanix (OceanMaster) and a surface sound velocity sensor. With a beam width of 0.5° x 0.9° and 1024 beams, it can obtain ultra-high-resolution depth data.
