Shelf Storage Object Fall Prevention Device "Fall Sensor II"
Operates even during power outages and does not require batteries. It detects seismic vibrations and activates the protective bar to prevent items on the shelf from falling.
The "Drop Sensor II" is a device designed to prevent the falling of items from shelves during an earthquake. When it detects a set acceleration threshold, a protective bar with a bellows automatically activates. There are two types available: one that drops the bar from above and another that springs the bar up from below. Our previous model operated on AA batteries, but this model uses a dye-sensitized solar cell that generates power in low indoor light and a lithium-ion capacitor, eliminating the need for battery or battery replacement. It will activate after detecting an earthquake even after a power outage lasting up to 10 days, such as during long holidays. 【Features】 ■ No need for regular battery replacement ■ Acceleration settings can be adjusted to correspond to seismic intensity (16 levels) ■ Easily retrofitted to existing storage shelves ■ Operates in unmanned factories and libraries 【Exhibition Information】 ■ Exhibition Name: COMNEXT Exhibition ■ Date: July 30 (Wednesday) to August 1 (Friday), 2025 ■ Venue: Tokyo Big Sight, South Exhibition Hall, 1st Floor ■ Booth Number: C8-13 *For more details, please refer to the materials.
