A rainwater retention structure integrated with the main retention tank can be formed. With a void ratio of over 80%, the outflow suppression function is improved compared to aggregates such as single-sized crushed stone. The unique structure of the Moyai Drain has been evaluated by the review committee of the (Public Corporation) Rainwater Retention Infiltration Technology Association as being applicable for rainwater outflow suppression facilities.
