Introduction of disaster recovery construction methods featured in the Journal of Civil Engineering.
Emergency construction of a temporary drainage channel using the fabric formwork method "FabriForm"! Solution to the requirement for shortening the construction period! Successful emergency measures! Project Name: Emergency Measures for River Channel Blockage in the Kumano River Nagatono Area - Construction of Temporary Drainage Channel Client Name: Kinki Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Kii Mountain Sand Control Office Project Overview At this site, it was necessary to urgently construct a temporary drainage channel to drain the large amount of water that was ponding due to a massive accumulation of sediment blocking the river channel, in order to prevent the occurrence of large-scale debris flow disasters. Our company's fabric formwork method "FabriForm" was adopted for this temporary drainage channel. Immediately after the disaster occurred, there was no route to the river channel blockage site, making it a difficult construction location where workers and construction machinery could not easily approach. The client and the general contractor were very pleased with the outcome.

Development Report on the Alternative Method for Kagomatto: "River Web Method"
The alternative method to the Kagomatto construction method, "River Web Method," has been completed. It enables labor-saving and shortening of construction periods. ● Lightweight and Compact Geo Web is lightweight and compact, making storage and transportation easy. ● Easy Construction and Shortened Construction Period The construction method involves repeated tasks of unfolding, filling, and installing cover materials, allowing for a reduction in construction time. Compared to conventional methods, it can be constructed at a speed 4 to 6 times faster, contributing to a shortened construction period. ● Flexible Structure The material is a honeycomb structure made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which excels in durability and flexibility. Additionally, Geo Web can be easily cut to the required dimensions on-site, allowing for construction that fits the site shape. ● Suitable for Riverbank Protection When using a cover type, the cover material and Geo Web are integrated with connecting materials, making it adaptable to maximum flow rates of approximately 5 m/s. (Note: The applicable flow rate may vary depending on design conditions. Please consult us during the design phase.) For more details, please refer to the URL below.

Improvement Case of Riverbed Stabilization Block Method
Resolved cost reduction for temporary river diversion using the Conback method! Successful in streamlining construction and cutting costs! Project Name: Takanabe Ohashi and Side Road Bridge Foundation Work Client Name: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Kyushu Regional Development Bureau, Miyazaki River and National Highway Office Project Overview: This site required foundation work for the road bridge. It involved foundation work for existing bridge piers, and due to the upper structure being an obstruction to the work, it was necessary to consider the method of placing the blocks. By adopting our Conback method, we were able to carry out the construction without being hindered by the upper structure. The client was very pleased with the results.
