[Construction Case] Solcomat Method Butt Reinforcement <River Embankment Strengthening>
An example of proposing river levee reinforcement based on a watershed management project!
We would like to introduce a case study of the "Solcomat Slope Reinforcement Method," developed to meet the needs for reinforcing the back of river embankments. In this site, spring water was occurring at the slope, and it was necessary to process drainage holes in the interlocking blocks. The "Solcomat Slope Reinforcement Method" consists of concrete blocks measuring 20cm x 20cm adhered to a filter cloth. There is approximately a 1cm gap between the blocks, allowing the spring water at the site to be discharged to the front side of the slope. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - Spring water is occurring, and it is necessary to process drainage holes in the interlocking blocks. ■ Effects - A gap of about 1cm exists between the concrete blocks, allowing the spring water at the site to be discharged to the front side of the slope. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
