In order to achieve a decarbonized society through GX (Green Transformation), companies are advancing various initiatives, including the utilization of renewable energy. Additionally, due to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's policy, it will become mandatory for businesses to implement heatstroke measures for workers starting in June. Particularly, areas near windows, which are easily affected by sunlight, are crucial points that influence the comfort and safety of workers. Akarina C is resistant to heat and simply by being installed on windows, it reduces heat. It improves air conditioning efficiency and reduces cooling costs. It transforms and diffuses harsh direct sunlight into soft light, also cutting down on lighting costs. Even when the slats are closed, it remains bright and ensures privacy. Made from soft materials, it is highly safe and prevents sunburn and fading of interiors with its UV-cut function. By creating a better working environment, it also contributes to increased employee satisfaction. Previously, we exhibited at the "Work Style Reform EXPO," but this time we have changed our exhibition area to the inaugural "Workplace Reform EXPO." In this new area focused on the working space itself, we will introduce the comfortable environment created by Akarina. While valuing people, goods, and the environment, we invite you to experience the appeal of Akarina, which also leads to reduced electricity costs, at the venue.

The economic report that has been covering us for many years. In issue 1864, published on December 20, it featured our company's opening of the Tokyo Metropolitan and Tokai sales offices this year, as well as the increase in sales of our daylight blinds "Akarina" due to the rising demand for energy-saving solutions. Akarina is a blind that reduces lighting usage and enhances air conditioning efficiency, contributing to energy conservation. We hope it will be useful in promoting decarbonization and GX initiatives.

We will be exhibiting at Messe Nagoya 2024, one of Japan's largest cross-industry networking events (essentially a trade show), which will be held from October 30 (Wednesday) to November 1 (Friday) at Port Messe Nagoya. Aichi Prefecture has many companies actively working towards energy conservation and achieving carbon neutrality, and our company's transaction record is the highest in the country. Therefore, we opened a Tokai sales office on September 1 of this year. We will strive to further enhance customer convenience and strengthen our services with this opportunity. This time, our booth will recreate a typical office environment, allowing you to experience a comparison of the heat insulation performance of the Akari-na C daylighting blinds and standard blinds, as well as a comparison of the slat transmittance performance. This summer was exceptionally hot. The Akari-na C enhances heat insulation performance simply by being installed on existing windows, alleviating the heat near the window. Please come and see and touch its performance for yourself. *The Akari-na daylighting blinds have different specifications, warranty contents, and services for corporate and individual use. We will be exhibiting at the "Work Style Reform EXPO Spring" held at Tokyo Big Sight again this year. This time, we will display the larger-sized "Akari-na" light-diffusing blinds alongside metal blinds, allowing you to experience the difference in brightness in a setting close to that of an actual office window. The subsidy for electricity costs will end in May this year. The rising electricity prices will become a serious issue that pressures profits. As the call for decarbonization and the transition to GX (converting to green energy such as renewable energy that does not emit greenhouse gases) grows louder, various initiatives have already begun in companies. The heat insulation performance of Akari-na contributes to energy savings for air conditioning in both summer and winter, while its light-diffusing performance reduces lighting power consumption. It contributes to the promotion of GX. The highly durable slats are resistant to breakage and have a long lifespan. Made from soft materials, they are less likely to cause injury, and the UV-cut function protects against sunburn and discoloration of interiors. We invite you to experience the appeal of "Akari-na" light-diffusing blinds, which help reduce electricity costs while valuing people, goods, and the environment.
