[IPH Construction Method Newsletter vol.1] Case Study of Repair Work on Mochimizo Bridge (Kumamoto Prefecture)
We would like to introduce examples of the nationwide adoption of the concrete repair and reinforcement method "IPH Method." ◆ Target: Repair work on Mochimizu Bridge on General Prefectural Road Kumamoto Hama Line [Kumamoto Prefecture] ◆ Contractor: Takano Development Co., Ltd. This year, repair work was carried out on the P1 pier and the girder section above P5 of Mochimizu Bridge (bridge length 51m), which is classified as category 3. The "IPH Method" was used as a concrete reinforcement measure against cracking. The "IPH Method" allows for filling down to fine details by replacing the air present inside the concrete with injected resin. However, infrastructure repairs cannot wait even during the pandemic, so we have been making various adjustments in the hope of providing you with useful information. As a result, thanks to the kindness of Professor Nakamura from the same university, we are pleased to announce that a seminar via Zoom has been arranged as follows.
