Conventional exterior wall inspections of buildings are conducted through visual observation by people to identify issues such as cracks and exposed rebar. The location and extent of these issues are measured using tools like measuring tapes, recorded on drawings, and later transcribed into CAD data back at the office. In cases where it is difficult to confirm from the ground, aerial work platforms or rope access are utilized. During such operations, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the workers and also to prevent the dropping of writing instruments and other items, which can complicate the working environment. INKARA was developed to address these challenges by aiming to improve the efficiency and labor-saving of visual inspections and enhance the working environment through the use of image and AI technology.
