  • Magnetic field meter

    Magnetic field meter(10)

The TMM-3 dimensional magnetic field meter is a portable measuring device that can measure the intensity of magnetic fields generated by power equipment and other sources. The ministerial ordinance that establishes technical standards for electrical equipment requires measurements to be taken with instruments that conform to JIS standards. In response to the replacement of the JIS standard with JIS C 1910-1:2017 in 2017, we developed the TMM-3 to comply with the new JIS standards.

  • [Technical Data Presentation] Basic knowledge about magnetic fields, regulations, measurement methods, etc.

[Technical Data Presentation] Basic knowledge about magnetic fields, regulations, measurement methods, etc.(4)

Knowledge of magnetic fields is essential for everyone involved in the electric power industry, manufacturing, research institutions, and universities that handle electrical equipment. This began with the growing attention on the effects of magnetic fields on the body, and I have concisely organized the developments leading to the establishment of regulations in Japan. This can contribute to improving knowledge for practical use at the operational level.

  • Drone magnetic field performance verification test

Drone magnetic field performance verification test(1)

The "drone magnetic field resistance performance verification test" allows for the actual flight of the drone body, enabling a quantitative understanding of abnormalities in sensors due to the influence of magnetic fields.

  • Evaluation Test of Magnetic Field Measurement Device Characteristics (Calibration Test) [JIS Standard Compliance]

Evaluation Test of Magnetic Field Measurement Device Characteristics (Calibration Test) [JIS Standard Compliance](1)

We recommend regular performance evaluation (calibration) tests for your magnetic field measuring device!

  • Airborne Salinity Monitoring Device [Measurement of Salinity Concentration in the Air]

Airborne Salinity Monitoring Device [Measurement of Salinity Concentration in the Air](1)

Structures near the coast (such as elevated bridges and power transmission facilities) are affected by corrosion and insulation failures due to sea salt particles. Using measurements of sea salt particles in the atmosphere as an indicator is an efficient method, but it requires considerable effort for measurement. By using 'ASMD', it is possible to measure sea salt particles in the atmosphere autonomously, allowing for continuous monitoring of the salt content in the air.

  • Sulfur-resistant corrosion coating [Corrosion prevention measures for thermal power plants]

Sulfur-resistant corrosion coating [Corrosion prevention measures for thermal power plants](1)

We will suppress corrosion in actual coal-fired boiler equipment to less than 1/4 compared to unprocessed areas. [Overview] We will implement and supervise a coating developed by the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry for corrosion prevention in the water-cooled tubes and superheaters of coal-fired power plants (including oil-fired power) aimed at suppressing sulfide corrosion and high-temperature corrosion (Patent Registration No. 5110608). This can be applied in a short period even when there is no time for thermal spraying or build-up welding. (A licensing agreement has been concluded with the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry.)

  • Test resistance load device [Device for testing standalone operation prevention function]

Test resistance load device [Device for testing standalone operation prevention function](1)

The test resistance load device is intended for use in power conditioners of solar power generation systems, for adjusting the current balance during the standalone operation prevention function test or as a load for preventing reverse current. The maximum load capacity is 21.8 kW, which allows for up to five units to operate in parallel for a typical household power conditioner (equivalent to 4 kW).

  • "EnergyWin" Power Plant Thermal Efficiency Analysis Technical Support

"EnergyWin" Power Plant Thermal Efficiency Analysis Technical Support(1)

Would you like to grasp clues for improving thermal efficiency using the software "EnergyWin"? We provide training and technical support for thermal efficiency analysis of power plants using the software "EnergyWin."

  • Removal of CV cable insulation breakdown test device water-oil insulation tube [Design and Production]

Removal of CV cable insulation breakdown test device water-oil insulation tube [Design and Production](1)

Please leave the design and production of the water-oil insulation tube to prevent insulation breakdown at the cable termination during the insulation breakdown test of the removed CV cable to us!

  • Solar-related services

    Solar-related services(5)

It is a service that solves technical issues related to solar power generation.

  • Physical and Chemical Experiment Kit

    Physical and Chemical Experiment Kit(6)

The Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry conducts experimental classrooms and lectures related to energy and the environment for various educational institutions and external organizations. Among the experiments conducted, we have obtained sales permission from the institute to manufacture and sell kits for several types of experiments as experimental kits. So far, we have sold experimental kits for three types: "Understanding the Mechanism of Motors," "Understanding the Mechanism of Power Generation," and "Understanding the Mechanism of Optical Fibers with Fishing Line." Additionally, since 2010, we have added "Electric Swing Experimental Kit," "Mini Mini Type Power Generation Mechanism Experimental Kit," and "3D Magnetic Field Line Observation Kit" to our product lineup. For detailed information about the various experiments conducted by the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in their experimental classrooms and lectures, please refer to their publication "Here and There at the Electric Power Research Institute."
