Our company has been working to promote the metal waterproofing method "Sky Promenade" for balconies, verandas, and rooftops of wooden houses. By utilizing this waterproofing technology, we advocate for a "revolution of roofs" that includes making broad use of residential spaces, and we are pleased to see rooftop areas becoming places of healing and family gatherings. In recent years, this waterproofing method has been recognized as a disaster-resistant solution that serves as an emergency evacuation site during repeated typhoons and natural disasters. In normal times, it fosters the emotional richness of residents as a second living room, and during disasters, it becomes a space that can endure and serve as a waiting area for rescue. Japanese roofs are typically triangular. By changing perspectives and adopting flat roofs, we aim to contribute to the resilience of our towns through the benefits and effects that arise. We will continue to strive for better housing development in collaboration with builders and contractors across the country.
