Noto Peninsula Earthquake - Active in supporting disaster-stricken areas! LP gas and gasoline dual-fuel generator!
Emergency power supply ELSONA that can use "LP gas" and "gasoline" for stable supply during disasters for power outage measures 【*Disaster area support report available】
ELSONA is a generator that can use both LP gas and gasoline, born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In response to the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake" that occurred on January 1, 2024, we donated 14 units of ELSONA to Suzu City and Noto Town as part of our support activities. In disaster-stricken areas, the road conditions are poor, making it difficult for transport vehicles to enter, and there are often purchase restrictions, making it extremely challenging to obtain gasoline. On the other hand, LP gas can be used from home gas cylinders or cylinders supplied by local governments, allowing for a stable supply even during disasters. In the affected areas, it served as a power source for lighting and smartphone charging stations, greatly appreciated by the local residents. Currently, we have surpassed 2,300 units in operational achievements. Many of the delivery destinations are local governments, and last year, 17 units were also delivered to the "Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Narashino Garrison," expanding our areas of activity. Detailed information
-
In the Noto Peninsula earthquake of 2024, we realized the usefulness of LP gas and introduced Elsona. We have installed a gas supply box to enable the use of generators and cooking stoves for emergency meals. Additionally, we have connected the GD5000SR to the distribution board to allow the ceiling-mounted air conditioning to operate.
-
Connect the GD5000SR to the distribution board and operate the ceiling-mounted air conditioner.
-
Since the air conditioner can be operated, the risk of heatstroke and other issues is reduced even during summer power outages.
-
We have completed the installation that allows for a one-touch connection of LP gas to the generator, enabling us to generate electricity while cooking.
-
The generator ELSONA GD1600SR will be connected to five portable power sources for charging.

An educational program on "environment" and "disaster prevention," the "Sorabear Workshop," was held!
The "Sorabear Sonaeru Project," organized by the NPO Sorabear Foundation, aims to enhance the adaptability of preschool children in emergency situations and raise awareness about "environment" and "disaster prevention" by donating "portable power supplies" and "solar panels," as well as conducting educational programs called "Sorabear Workshops" for the children. G&ECO is sponsoring the "Sorabear Sonaeru Project" as part of its renewable energy promotion activities. They provided "portable power supplies" and "solar panels," and workshops on "environment" and "disaster prevention" for children were held at "Hinokai Nursery" in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, and "Little Mone Nursery" in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. Details of the workshops are also featured in the article "G&ECO Disaster Prevention." Please take a look. https://g-and-eco.jp/projects/4739

With the lessons of March 11 in mind, prepare for the future.
14 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. And last year's Noto Peninsula earthquake. Having experienced the disaster, we have keenly realized the importance of "having electricity." The anxiety of being in a blackout without light. The frustration of being unable to communicate. The impatience of not being able to operate necessary equipment. ELSONA is a generator born to secure power even during disasters. By operating on both gasoline and LP gas, it provides more options. During the Noto Peninsula earthquake, it assisted in: - Lighting in evacuation shelters and charging smartphones - Operating electric beds and refrigerators in care facilities - Charging portable power sources, among others It contributed to power supply on-site. What we felt in the disaster-stricken area was the reality that "gasoline is hard to obtain." However, there were many situations where LP gas could utilize home cylinders or regional stockpiles. Disasters can happen anytime, anywhere. That is why we hope this serves as an opportunity to reconsider "preparations for emergencies." ELSONA will continue to improve as a power source that supports everyone's peace of mind. With the lessons of that day in mind, let’s do what we can for the future. G&ECO Co., Ltd.
