"J-ECO Disaster Prevention" is a disaster prevention column written by employees of G&ECO Corporation. All employees are certified disaster prevention specialists who provide disaster prevention information. ／ Theme of Series No. 25 ／ Donation of "Portable Power Supply" and "Solar Panels" to Preschools & Implementation of Disaster Prevention Workshops! Since 2022, G&ECO has been participating as a corporate supporter of the NPO Sorabear Fund as part of our initiative "1.5 for the future," which delivers a portion of the sales from our generator product "ELSONA" to non-profit organizations working to promote the introduction of renewable energy. This time, we sponsored the "Sorabear Sonael Project," aimed at improving disaster preparedness and raising environmental awareness in facilities for preschool children, by providing "Portable Power Supplies" and "Solar Panels," and conducting disaster prevention workshops at the selected preschools. Ogata and Masaji from our Kyoto branch visited "Hinokai Nursery" in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, while Ueda from our Tokyo headquarters visited "Little Mone Nursery" in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. *For more details about the column, please refer to the related links. The second Sora Bear Sonaeru Project donation garden has been announced!
G&ECO has been promoting the initiative "1.5 for the future" since 2022, donating a portion of the sales from its product "ELSONA" to nonprofit organizations that support the introduction of renewable energy. As part of this effort, we continue to be a corporate supporter of the NPO Sora Bear Foundation. Following last year, we are also sponsoring the "Sora Bear Sonael Project" this year, and we are pleased to announce that the donation gardens have been decided and announced in the second public recruitment held from July 1 to September 5, 2025. The "Sora Bear Sonael Project" supports the use of renewable energy and enhances disaster preparedness by donating "portable power sources" and "solar panels" to kindergartens attended by preschool children. Additionally, we hold an environmental and disaster education program called the "Sora Bear Workshop," providing children with opportunities to learn about the environment and disasters in a fun way. Through this project, we hope to contribute to the spread of renewable energy in the community and raise awareness among the children who will lead the future. G&ECO will continue to value "what can be done for the future" and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
