Delivery interview for portable generators as a 'power source to protect lives' during disasters.

[Delivery Interview] "Power Source that Protects Lives" in Times of Disaster [Delivery Interview with Professor Wakatsuki, Disaster Prevention Education Center, Fujita Health University]

Securing power during disasters is a lifeline for supporting affected areas. Recently, Mr. Wakatsuki from the Disaster Prevention Education Center at Fujita Medical University (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture) has introduced our generator "ELSONA." Fujita Medical University Hospital, located on the same premises as the university, is one of the largest university hospitals in Japan (1,376 beds) and has been designated as a "core disaster response hospital" in Aichi Prefecture. It is strengthening its BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures in preparation for large-scale disasters such as the Nankai Trough earthquake. In an interview, based on his real experiences supporting evacuation centers during the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, he shared the background of introducing the highly practical ELSONA generator, which can operate on both "LP gas" and "gasoline," as well as details about communication training conducted using the generator. Please take a look.
