Insulated Formwork Pad "Thermo Fitter" [Enhanced Heat Retention Effect!]

Easy to install and remove even during curing! Measures against temperature cracking in low-temperature pouring and mass concrete.

The "Thermo Fitter" is an insulation pad that allows for easy temperature management of the concrete surface and interior by being fitted into the formwork during concrete placement. The aluminum-coated PET film and PE foam cut off heat radiation from the outside while providing insulation. It can be attached and detached at any necessary timing during curing, making it suitable for cold weather concrete measures and preventing temperature cracking due to internal restraint in mass concrete. It can be cut or bent with a cutter and can be applied to beveled or curved areas. 【Features】 ■ 16mm thick body that does not interfere with hook bolts or clamps ■ Easy to install and remove by holding the handle protrusion ■ Highly flexible and resilient, fitting accurately within the formwork ■ Excellent chemical resistance and weather resistance ■ Reusable ■ NETIS registration number KTK-160028-A *For more details, please request documentation or view the PDF data available for download.

Insulated Formwork Pad "Thermo Fitter"

Applications/Examples of results

Field Adaptation Case: 1) Application Situation: Bridge piers located on the riverbank in the Tohoku region. Concrete was poured during the cold period (from March to early April), and this insulated formwork pad was used as a cold weather curing measure. 2) Application Results: The number of insulated formwork pads installed was 4,080, with an installation period of 3 days and a removal period of 1 day, allowing for easy and short-term construction. The formwork at the ends of the bridge piers had a curvature of R2.25m, which seemed difficult to install, but due to the flexibility of this product, it was possible to construct without it coming loose.
