[+CAL25F Delivery Record] Nihon University
This is an introduction to the case of supplying "+CAL25F" to the Faculty of Bioresource Sciences at Nihon University! In 2018, we delivered two units of +CAL25F to the Shimoda Coastal Laboratory of the Faculty of Bioresource Sciences at Nihon University. The Shimoda Coastal Laboratory, located in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, faces Tanoura Bay and conducts practical training and research on marine resources. However, it is said that during a massive earthquake in the Nankai Trough, a tsunami exceeding 30 meters could reach the area in about 15 minutes, prompting the introduction of the system to ensure the safety of students and faculty as part of crisis management measures. Additionally, the installation site shown in the above photo was constructed by Nihon University in conjunction with the introduction of this shelter, demonstrating a strong awareness of disaster prevention that left a deep impression on us. Furthermore, we conducted simulations of maritime distress situations with students using the +CAL8F, which accommodates eight people, and contributed to disaster prevention research. Not only was the introduction of the shelter significant, but being able to assist in actual research was a very valuable experience. Thank you very much.

Rescue Boat: The Tough Boat 'Whaly' that Never Gets a Flat - A boat made of 100% polyethylene, excelling in both strength and buoyancy.
Are you looking for a maintenance-free rescue boat that can be actively operated without the worry of punctures during rescue operations in flooded areas with a lot of debris in shallow waters? While rubber boats are commonly used for flood rescue, there is a risk of flooding due to collisions with protruding objects in harsh environments with a lot of debris. The hull of our product is made from a highly impact-resistant polyethylene material and is molded as a single piece, and with its double hull structure, it is unsinkable, so even if water enters, it will not sink. It combines stability and maneuverability that surpass rubber boats, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, not just as a rescue boat. 【Features】 - Extremely high shock absorption performance, ensuring safety even in harsh environments like floods - Strong buoyancy due to air naturally trapped within the double hull - Low adhesion, making it resistant to barnacles and dirt, thus easy to maintain - The material is colored, making scratches less visible, eliminating the need for painting or polishing - UV-resistant materials are incorporated, making it durable against aging and suitable for outdoor management - The hull is 100% recyclable, considering the natural environment and keeping disposal costs low.
