NR-Power Lab will begin a demonstration of power digital services at Okitama New Power in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture, and Kazuno Power in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, starting July 1, 2024. This demonstration is part of the "visualization" project with co-creation partners announced in the press release on December 12, 2023, titled "Starting co-creation to promote local production for local consumption and regional economic circulation in collaboration with 16 regional new power companies nationwide - Aiming to refine VPP systems and power digital services." We will provide "visualization" services at a total of 10 locations in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture, and Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture. This service will not only show the progress of local production for local consumption but also visualize the challenges where local production for local consumption has not yet progressed, encouraging behavioral changes that can lead to the promotion of regional economic circulation.
