99% removal of VOCs! Exhaust treatment technology 'FP method'
High-efficiency recovery of VOCs such as toluene and xylene! Ideal for odor control! Unique technology from Ruki Engineering.
The "FP Method" is our unique exhaust treatment technology that adsorbs and removes VOCs by attaching powdered activated carbon to a filter, allowing VOCs emissions to pass through it. 【Features of the FP Method】 ◎ High-efficiency use of activated carbon By using powdered activated carbon, the adsorption speed and amount are significantly improved compared to granular forms. ◎ Compact The adsorption section is more compact and space-saving compared to honeycomb rotors. ◎ Extremely low VOCs emission concentration VOCs removal efficiency of 99% (compared to a conventional maximum of 95%). ◎ No generation of NOx or SOx Unlike combustion methods, it operates on electricity, resulting in no generation of NOx or SOx. ◎ Filters that are resistant to clogging Our uniquely developed pleated filter has a high precision of 0.15μm × 99.95% PAO, allowing for surface filtration and reducing the occurrence of deep clogging. ◎ Labor-saving maintenance No need for HEPA filters or pre-filters. Filter maintenance (automatic regeneration of powdered activated carbon, automatic cleaning and attachment) is achieved through air pulses. The filters can be used for long periods (replacement every 6 years), and consumables only require occasional replenishment of powdered activated carbon. ◎ CO2 emissions are approximately one-third of conventional types. ◎ Annual operating costs are low, about one-third of conventional types.
basic information
【Introduction to FP Method Technology】 - By passing VOC exhaust gas through a pleated filter pre-coated with powdered activated carbon, VOCs are adsorbed and removed. - While granular activated carbon is commonly used in traditional adsorption towers for VOC recovery, using powdered activated carbon achieves improved adsorption rates. - Powdered activated carbon that has adsorbed VOCs can be regenerated and reused through high-temperature desorption, with automatic shedding and coating of powdered activated carbon in the filter. - VOCs adsorbed on powdered activated carbon are desorbed at high concentrations, allowing for "liquid recovery" or "catalytic combustion." - Our unique pleated filter has a surface area 32 times greater than that of a typical bag filter, enabling high adsorption rates in a compact volume. 【Patents Related to FP Method】 Patent No. 5317885 Gas Treatment Device Patent No. 5732204 Deodorization Device and Method Patent No. 6140326 Regeneration Method for Adsorbents of Volatile Organic Compounds Patent Application No. 2018-108026 Deodorization Equipment and Method We offer sample testing ⇩ Testing with demo units ⇩ We will customize suitable equipment based on the customer's application and propose a system.
