Announcement of the "Earthquake Preparedness Online Seminar" on March 10, 2021 (Wednesday)

It has already been nearly 10 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, which caused unprecedented damage. Since the earthquake, major earthquakes have occurred across the country, including the Kumamoto Earthquake and the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake in 2018. Furthermore, measures against the anticipated massive earthquakes, such as the Nankai Trough, where the source areas of the Tokai, Tonankai, and Nankai earthquakes are expected to be linked, are a common challenge for all companies and organizations. In this seminar, we will mark the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake by clearly introducing the fundamental knowledge of earthquake measures, new countermeasure know-how, and case studies by facility type, in response to many requests from participants. By implementing the above, we will support the effective review of earthquake measures and disaster prevention plans.
