The High Builder Dam is a passive hydraulic damping damper that generates damping force using the fluid resistance of oil, absorbing the vibrations of buildings. It is effective across a wide range, from major earthquakes to wind sway, and is adopted in various buildings from skyscrapers to low-rise structures, contributing to improved seismic resistance and livability. 【Features】 - The relationship between damping force and velocity is bi-linear, preventing excessive loads on the building structure during major earthquakes. - The variation in damping performance due to changes in frequency from earthquakes and temperature is minimal. - The structure minimizes mechanical clearance, providing stable damping performance even for small amplitude vibrations such as wind sway and minor earthquakes. - High durability is achieved through the use of seals and operating oil with little aging change. - Simple installation with high-strength bolt connections. - Usable without replacement even after an earthquake. - Internal oil level can be checked with an oil level monitoring rod (optional). - Installed between studs, eliminating the need for braces like shear link or diagonal braces, allowing for effective use of space. - Joint shape suitable for stud installation, achieving a total length of 885mm. - New stud type 1000kN added to the lineup.
