Notice of the Glass Foam Recycling Material Technology Seminar to be held on July 29, 2025 [Hiroshima Prefecture]
On July 29, 2025 (Tuesday), a technical seminar on "Lightweight Embankment Construction Method and Glass Foam Recycling Materials" will be held in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, as part of the Civil Engineering Society's CPD accredited program (2.7 units). [Important Notice] Report on the Withdrawal from the Union by Trim Co., Ltd.
On April 1, 2025, we received a notification from Trim Co., Ltd. regarding their withdrawal from the union as of March 31, 2025. The board of directors has respected their wishes and approved the withdrawal. From now on, Trim's Super Sol and the Super Sol of the Glass Foam Material Business Cooperative will no longer be subject to the unified quality control regulations of the cooperative, and therefore cannot be treated as the same quality. Establishment of a new Super Sol factory [Kyoto Prefecture] Kyoto Tō Packing and Transport Co., Ltd.
In May 2023, a new Super Sol factory was established by Kyoto Tō Packing Transport Co., Ltd. in Kyotanba Town, Funai District, Kyoto Prefecture.

Kozawa Construction Co., Ltd.'s 'Super Sol' has been certified as a 'Kochi Prefecture Recycled Product'.
In March 2022, the newly established Kochi Prefecture Ino Town company, Kinzawa Construction Co., Ltd., had its glass bottle recycling material Super Sol certified under the "Kochi Prefecture Recycling Products Certification System," which has been implemented by Kochi Prefecture since fiscal year 2004. In Kochi Prefecture, the government certifies excellent "recycling products" manufactured and processed within the prefecture using recycled resources such as waste, as well as "environmentally friendly businesses" that have achieved outstanding results through environmentally conscious initiatives, and "eco shops" recognized for contributing to the formation of a circular society in the region.

Establishment of JIS for Glass Foam Recycling Materials JIS Z 7313
Today, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has established and revised Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) (for July 2019) - Establishment and revision of JIS for glass foam recycling materials, guide symbols, etc. A press release was just distributed under the above title. We are pleased to report that the long-awaited certification of the JIS standards has been officially announced.

The Glass Foam Material Business Cooperative Office has been relocated to Tokyo.
On June 10, 2019, we relocated our office from Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture to Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo (a 5-minute walk from Tamachi Station on the JR Yamanote Line).

A new member has joined the Glass Foam Material Business Cooperative. It is Landbell Co., Ltd. A Super Sol factory has been established in Okayama Prefecture, and the completion ceremony will be held on December 21. We look forward to your continued support.
