[ZEROSAI Introduction Interview] Japan National Land Development Corporation
It has become routine for everyone at the workplace to check the weather. This has a positive impact on process management, and awareness of weather and safety measures among individuals has further improved.
We would like to introduce an interview article about the natural disaster prevention system ZEROSAI, implemented by Kumamoto Prefecture's Amakusa City and developed by Japan National Land Development Co., Ltd. ZEROSAI has been implemented at the previous site as well, and it has been adopted again as a repeat installation. - What challenges did you face at the current site? Since we work with soil, we are greatly affected by the weather, making us very concerned about the weather for tomorrow or a few days ahead. Additionally, construction starts with logging, and the working environment changes depending on the logging location, so we are working to overcome those challenges during construction. When we previously used ZEROSAI, the office was close to the site and it was an urban construction project, so we installed the equipment in the office and accessed information in a timely manner. This time, the office and the site are far apart, and the signal is poor. Once we understood the areas with good and bad signals after clearing the forest, we wanted to quickly install ZEROSAI to grasp the weather information. - In what scenarios are you utilizing it? *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *The attached photo is for illustration purposes.
