The 'Mamoreru - Kanjin Tap-kun' was featured on television.
Recently, our product "Mamoreal - Earthquake Sensing Tap-kun (RDJ20000W)" was featured on TV Asahi's program "Tokyo Site" under the theme "100 Years Since the Great Kanto Earthquake." This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake, which occurred in 1923 (Taisho 12). As the likelihood of earthquakes such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Area Earthquake and the Nankai Trough Earthquake increases year by year, measures to suppress fires caused by earthquakes are being considered. Many of the ignition causes in past major earthquakes have been related to electrical issues, leading to a heightened awareness of countermeasures against electrical fires. As a measure against electrical fires caused by earthquakes, the outlet-type earthquake sensing breaker "Sensing Tap-kun" was introduced.

Announcement of Selection for the 2017 "Good Design Award 100"
We are pleased to announce that our "Wall Outlet (UCW Series)" has been selected as one of the 100 Good Design Awards for 2017. This award is organized by the Japan Design Promotion Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, with the aim of selecting and honoring "good design" from a variety of phenomena, thereby leading our lives, industries, and society as a whole to a richer state. [Overview] This product is a wall outlet that can be stored within the wall when not in use. By lightly pressing the center, the outlet unit pops out. It features two outlets on opposite sides that can rotate 90°, allowing power plugs to be connected either vertically or horizontally. The power plugs can be inserted parallel to the wall, minimizing interference from connected power cords. The product lineup includes options with and without grounding and with and without locks. The lockable type can be secured while the outlet unit is stored, reducing the risk of electricity theft and vandalism. *The release date for this product is currently undecided.

Announcement of the 2017 (11th) "Kids Design Award" Winner
We are pleased to announce that our "Mamoreal Outdoor-kun" has won the Kids Design Award for the 2017 fiscal year (the 11th edition), targeting residential and building ancillary equipment. [Development Concept] This is a security cover with a lock designed to protect outdoor outlets from tampering and unauthorized electricity use. Outdoor outlets are widely used not only in train stations and commercial facilities but also in single-family homes. However, tampering and unauthorized electricity use have become significant issues. Given that these outlets are often installed at heights accessible to young children, we developed this product to prevent injuries, accidents, and tampering before they occur. [Judges' Comments] Outdoor outlets pose a risk of electric shock accidents as they are equipment that children can touch. While they are necessary security covers as part of social infrastructure, it is essential to promote and disseminate their use for the development of safe communities and societies where children can grow up with peace of mind.
